It just goes from blatant "ggers" to passive aggressive on mic. Yeah more voice com, but everyone thinks they are Dota2 geniuses and just flame via side comments. Personally, normal ranked isn't that toxic imo. Like I don't consider a player who goes to great lengths to explain how he can't do anything and it's not his fault "nice". And they almost always decend into a gang up and blame someone the minute things don't work out perfect. In any case, carry is the most variable in role ranked, in that you get the most amazing players or players who are very weak and ineffective. Something League has, that I think works well is allowing you to queue as 'fill' as well.
Then when you join the game it just assigns you whatever role you had that's left presumably whichever is in shortest supply at the time That'll always be the supports right?
I can get a rr game in 3 mins avg when i pick support, but the one time i choose safe lane it took me 15 minutes to find a game.. I think it'll initially be always supports, but I know in League it changed over time. They made their ranked mode so that you had to pick a role before you queued.
Then when people realized support always had the shortest queue time, lots of people took up playing support - or people realised that if they queued top instead of mid it cut their queue time a bit, etc. I'd say now though that in LoL most position queues are under 2 minutes. Middle is maybe 5 minutes.

Im very certain valve is just using BP to test the water so to speak. Does anyone actually queue for This? It takes forever to find a game. Also if they implement this system, high mmr games will now be trash. The product of that means there are 10 times as many cores as supports. And seeing as they all need to get games at one point and how population tapers off the higher MMR you go, supports frequently have to support way lower cores.
Result is lower average games and also less MMR to gain. Ah can confirm before bp came out it would take me 1 min to find a game, sometimes as soon as i pressed find match EU WEST , now it takes minimum 10 min to find a game. I hope this feature gets implemented to non battle pass users, in the exact same manner as it is provided in the battle pass: That way, if queue times really becomes a problem in higher skill levels, people may easily switch back to normal ranked queue.
I don't think it should be part of Dota plus.

It's easily one of the most pay to win options available in the game right now in my opinion. Having the chance to queue into people who are not doing ranked roles seems like a pretty decently big advantage considering how fair everything else is in Dota. Even at Ancient 5 I get games from time to time that are just free wins, because the enemy team decided to pick too many cores.
I rather want there to be another split on 4 and 5 support. There are a ton of ppl searching as "support" but their idea is to play roaming pudge that never buys wards. Maybe implement the 2 roles thing, and maybe an "undefined" option as well - where you would just play whatever. What region are you on? Well, you can still see your mmr on the statistics tab, and know there is the percentage of how close you are to your next medal, and i like that change a lot In your profile there should be a bar below your medal, and also if you hover over your own profile picture when you're not in your profile page when it shows your medal the percentage is there aswell.
Sometimes it isn't there so i asume it is because you're currently in an mmr too much lower than your current medal, but i might be wrong, it might be just a visual bug.
Won't 2 roles bring the same problem, all five select 5 different roles and carry, now every1 wants carry. I like the role mm. Yes quality of games hase gone up,but that was at first. And now i get i play support role scond suport picks 4th core,and offlane picks a safelaner slark. I dont mind if the seccond support picks a core if he still plays the hero as a support.
And second thing i dont like in role mm language is no longer a thing,so i once again get Russians on my team who don't use english. This was not a problem last mmr season. I just report everyone who takes a carry to the offlane. It's only happened for me a few times.
All the other games I have played have been great. My winrate is higher for just Role MM. Everyone helps each other and there is little flame. The last time I tried regular ranked, was a week ago becuase it was 45 minutes for safelane carry and I still didn't find a game. Two people fought over mid and one ran down mid and fed. I'm done with regular ranked.

A regular team comp can push on a 5 man carry in 25 minutes an end the game. Which is what I do if the opponent is a 5 carry team. U are talking about players that know what they are doing. This is related to team balance, but not the same thing. More on this below. For example, the matchmaker tries to avoid matching a party of 5 against against 5 individual players.
Lack of a common language across the whole match is also avoided, but less strongly.
